IGA KidsFest Perspective

July 19, 2010

You've been hearing about it for weeks, and now it's finally here-IGA's 11th annual KidsFest has begun! If you haven't finished planning, or even if you haven't begun, you can still get in on the KidsFest action by taking advantage of one simple resource: the IGA Hometown KidsFest consumer Web site new on www.IGA.com. This vibrant and fun site gives parents and kids ideas to celebrate summer while promoting IGA and the national KidsFest event. The site features:

  • Kid-themed recipes ranging from fun (paint and clay) to delicious (soft pretzels and no-bake cookies)

  • IGA-themed coloring pages and puzzles (great for bag stuffers)

  • Web links for kid sites offering fun and educational activities

  • Information directing kids and parents to come to your store to enter the IGA Hometown KidsFest Sweepstakes!

This Web site is your opportunity to extend IGA into your customers' homes and make sure their KidsFest experience—and their appreciation for all you do for your hometown kids—carries on well past your event. Now we just need your help to spread the word. We encourage you to take advantage of this exciting opportunity by letting your customers know about the site, and also by incorporating some of the resources and ideas on the site into your event.

We look forward to bringing you and your customers even more value with continued additions to our IGA.com site. Keep checking The Independent View—and the consumer and business sites themselves—to see what's new.
