Kraft and IGA: Working Together to Feed Families and Communities

 December 17, 2012

I would like to first take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as your new Red Oval partner representative for Kraft Foods Group. As a 29-year veteran of the grocery business, I have held a lot of positions, but I have had the honor of representing the independent grocer throughout much of that career. And what an honor it is—particularly now that I'm working with the IGA family. I have always been so impressed with IGA retailers and their "Hometown Proud" mission to use independent entrepreneurialism to serve their shoppers, their employees and their communities.

IGA retailers' dedication to the communities they serve is legendary, and Kraft is proud to have played a small part in helping you become known as the brand that lends a helping hand through our support of IGA marketing and cause marketing events. Working together, Kraft and IGA have been bringing shoppers exclusive promotions and community-building opportunities for decades, and I look forward to doing my part to carry on that tradition. One of the most intimate experiences we have is helping our customers come up with solutions to feed their families and their communities, and we at Kraft feel privileged to be a part of the IGA experience.

As you look toward 2013, know that Kraft is behind you. We will be here to help you fulfill your IGA Promise of personalized, community-focused service through ever-more creative and innovative ways.

On behalf of all of us at Kraft, Happy Holidays and thank you for all you do.
