IGA Designates MMI to Assist With Private Brand Program - 09/12/08

Fort Worth, TX - IGA, the world’s largest voluntary supermarket network, is pleased to announce a partnership with Red Oval Family member Marketing Management, Inc. (MMI) to focus on the growth and further development of the IGA Private Brand program.

IGA is excited to begin working with Marketing Management, Inc. to utilize ProductMaster, a product lifecycle management system, as a means to assist IGA in managing its private label product information and projects. ProductMaster allows retailers to collaborate with their suppliers on product specifications, quality assurance audits and specifications compliance, as well as facilitating processes like product introduction and label design.

IGA and MMI will be expanding their current quality assurance relationship with the addition of QA retail audits and sensory testing. MMI has currently been managing quality assurance and consumer response for IGA. The two companies will also be enhancing their current relationship with Inventory and Category Management as well as consolidating IGA’s entire WIC program.

MMI is committed to driving profitable sales for IGA's private brand program through category management processes, product sourcing, brand marketing and strict adherence to disciplined quality assurance processes.
