PAT RAYBOULD NAMED IGA'S 2003 INTERNATIONAL RETAILER
OF THE YEAR
CHICAGO, IL – Pat Raybould, owner of Russ's
Market IGA in Lincoln ,
Neb. , has been named one of seven IGA 2003
International Retailers of the Year.
Raybould was chosen for the annual award from the 4,400 IGA Retailers
worldwide. A committee of Food Industry experts selected Raybould
based on his exceptional performance in areas ranging from leadership
and innovation to hometown involvement and employee development. He
will be honored at IGA's 2003 International Retailers of the Year
Awards Dinner Ceremony, to be held on Tuesday evening, March 11, during
the 2003 IGA Global Summit in Palm Springs
, Calif.
"Pat Raybould is an exemplary leader with a strong entrepreneurial
spirit," said Dr. Thomas Haggai, chairman and CEO of IGA. "He
has been an invaluable part of IGA for many years, and I'm proud to
call him an IGA International Retailer of the Year. Russ's Market

Raybould became a member of IGA in 1964, and currently owns eight
IGA Supermarkets. In addition to his participation in each store,
Raybould also maintains a very active presence in the community. He
is a member of the Lincoln Food Bank and helped establish a kids'
grocery store in the Lincoln Children's Museum.
