IGA APPOINTS SENIOR CONSULTANT FOR KEY EXECUTIVE POSITIONJerry C. Pinney Retained as IGA International Coordinator CHICAGO, IL - IGA today announced it has retained Jerry Pinney, President of Chicago based consulting firm Jerry Pinney & Associates, for the position of international coordinator. As international coordinator, Pinney will work to expand IGA’s global presence, while offering support to the office of the chairman and IGA’s international programs. Jerry Pinney & Associates offers consulting and coaching services to a wide variety of clients, including Intrinsic Quality in Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Spokane, Wash., based Second Harvest Food Bank. Prior to founding his own company, Pinney had a 30-year career in the food industry, which included positions with IGA Inc., the National Grocers Association and Shurfine International. Most recently, Pinney was responsible for managing automotive giant Zenon C.R. Hansen’s family foundation, a non-profit organization “dedicated to providing resources to those who help themselves.” “Executive Vice President, IGA International, Dr. Paulo Goelzer and I are extremely pleased to welcome Jerry Pinney back to the IGA Family,” said Dr. Thomas S.
