IGA ANNOUNCES 80TH ANNIVERSARY
SHOPPING SPREE SWEEPSTAKES
RETAIL INCENTIVE WINNERS
CHICAGO, IL - IGA today announced the retail incentive winners
of the IGA 80 th Anniversary Shopping Spree Sweepstakes, the first
of three 80th Anniversary consumer marketing events IGA will host
in 2006. The winning retailers were chosen via random drawing from
all IGA Retailers who submitted proof of participation.
During the two-week timeframe from Feb. 26-March 12, participating
IGA Supermarkets across America offered valuable savings on brand-name
consumer sponsor products, as well as the opportunity for consumers
to enter to win an $80 shopping spree. Consumers were encouraged
to register via general sweepstakes entry as many times as they wished
during the promotional period. Each participating IGA Supermarket
was awarded one $80 Shopping Spree via a random sweepstakes drawing.
IGA Retailers who participated in the consumer Shopping Spree giveaway
were given the opportunity to win a share of an $8,000 cash prize
just for participating in the event. The retail winners were selected
via random drawing of all retailers who submitted proof of participation
in the form of a picture of their IGA Shopping Spree sponsor product
display and copy of their IGA Shopping Spree advertisement.
The winning IGA Retailers were awarded by random drawing of participating
IGA Retailers their share of an $8,000 prize package.
