At Wadesboro IGA our ultimate goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience for all of our customers on a consistent basis. You see, for us, the IGA Brand is a badge of integrity, and we feel we have a responsibility to live up to the commitment to quality and service that the IGA Red Oval represents. With that in mind, we have based our service philosophy on "The Golden Rule"—we treat every customer as we would want to be treated. This helps our staff build lasting personal relationships with our customers. In fact, most of our customers are known on a first name basis and have established a bond with their favorite cashier, bagger, or stocker.
But the IGA Red Oval is about more than service—it's also about having a commitment to the community as a whole. We have always lived the "HOMETOWN PROUD" way which is to say that we understand that Wadesboro itself is the heart and soul of our business.
We use the slogan "Only at Wadesboro IGA" to let everyone know how proud we are to be invested in this community, but without action, that slogan is meaningless. That's why we have worked hard to build strong relationships with our schools, churches, and civic groups, doing everything from painting the exterior of our store with school colors to contributing perishables and groceries to local food banks. We support any organization that asks for help because we believe that when somebody shares, everybody wins.
We're just so glad that IGA gives us a vehicle for sharing. In the end, that's what IGA is all about for us, and for this community. You really can't ask for a better brand image that that.
