All of us at NGA are excited to once again partner with IGA to bring you two great events—The NGA Show and the IGA Global Rally—all under one roof in Las Vegas this coming February.

Planning is well underway and I can tell you already that this joint industry event will be the ideal learning and networking opportunity for those in the independent grocery industry. While IGA is putting together a strong program to showcase the innovation and power of the IGA Brand and the benefit it brings to independent retailers, the NGA team has been hard at work developing an impressive lineup that will deliver tactical information and new tools to help you win at retail.

NGA has always been known for its strong educational content and this year is shaping up to be one of our best. We'll kick things off with famed Washington Post Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and best-selling author, Bob Woodward, who will headline our opening session. NGA's breakfast sessions will focus on produce and meat and consumer trends while our general sessions will feature topics on cutting edge industry trends and social media.

During The NGA Show, we won't just talk about the emerging industry trends affecting your business, we'll educate you how to use those trends to remain competitive in your marketplace. This year we are offering seven educational tracks focused on marketing/merchandising, finance, store operations, store leadership, compliance, digital marketing and fresh foods. Each track will offer numerous educational seminars that will provide valuable insights and best practices that you can take back to your store and implement right away. IGA retailers won't want to miss an opportunity to bring others within your company to take part in these top notch sessions. NGA's education program is unique because of the breadth of retailers willing to share their experiences as session presenters.

Also included is the NGA Expo Floor, which is 44 percent larger this year than in 2013 and will feature pavilions in areas such as produce, meat, health & beauty, wellness and general merchandise, and technology. We are proud to partner with Produce Marketing Association (PMA), Global Market Development Center (GMDC), the North American Meat Association (NAMA) and Center for Advancing Retail and Technology (CART) to bring innovative new products to the Show floor. We're excited to report that with over 80 percent of the floor sold we are on track to once again sell out the exhibit hall.

Co-locating the NGA Show and IGA Global Rally provides independent grocers an unparalleled opportunity to network, learn, and bring back new ideas and tactics to grow their business. You are guaranteed to come away with new ideas, perspectives and solutions to tackle your most challenging business issues.

We're offering a great registration deal for both events, so please visit the 2014 IGA Global Rally website today to reserve your spot and visit www.thengashow.com to learn more about this year's exciting program.

We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!
