The IGA Red Oval manufacturers and service providers give unlimited support to IGA retailers, from information about category and consumer trends that enables retailers to make better and more informed decisions, to the resources needed to create programs that drive the brand forward. Seven Red Oval Partner Awards were given for outstanding commitment to the advancement of IGA and its retailers at the 2019 IGA Awards of Excellence Brunch at the San Diego Air & Space Museum on February 24.
AR Marketing has been IGA’s preferred partner for turnkey social media services for a number of years now, but in 2018 they took the partnership a step further, leveraging IGA’s size and scale to develop, test, and launch a new high return social platform at a fraction of the cost retailers would pay anywhere else.
With this winning partner’s help, IGA now offers two great social programs to connect with shoppers and build brand awareness: a turnkey full-service option that includes full site management and custom-created posts, and the new lower-cost version that includes weekly posts promoting IGA’s national digital ad and engaging original content housed on IGA.com.
Nestle Purina PetCare
Nestle Purina PetCare has been responsible for some of IGA’s most successful shopper-facing events and promotions. From the much-anticipated Purina Pet Photo Contest and the in-store “Big Picture” mural promoting pet month, to national and local savings and resources to support product merchandising, in-store events, and pet adoptions, this winning partner has made it their mission to help IGA retailers become the hometown proud choice for healthy happy pets.

Pinnacle Foods/Conagra was the pilot company in our IGA Learning Bite program, working with us to create an educational video to help IGA retailers promote their new Duncan Hines Perfect Size for One mug cakes. The resulting video created a road map not only for using this innovative new product to increase sales in the baking aisle, but also for other Red Oval partners looking to provide category and merchandising insights around their own new product launches.
DG Graphics has been an essential part of the IGA team for more than a decade, working with IGA to promote programs and resources in a way that helps everyone involved understand and embrace the value. Most recently, this small, family-owned company put together an affordable comprehensive sign kit that would make it possible for all our retailers to tell our “Local Equals Fresh” brand story in a way that excites shoppers.
