This week, the CDC released two new options to reduce the length of quarantine for people without COVID-19 symptoms. While a 14-day quarantine is still preferable to ensure there is no infection, if a person must shorten their quarantine and is not symptomatic, the CDC now recommends two additional options based on local availability of viral testing:
10 days without testing
7 days after receiving a negative test result

Small Business Administration Releases PPP Loan Data
The Small Business Administration (SBA) released the names, locations, and loan amounts for all 5.5 million businesses who received a PPP loan this week, following a court battle stemming from a Freedom of Information Act request. This information release will expand upon the data already made public by SBA in July in two major categories. For borrowers who received loans in excess of $150K, the exact loan amount will now be listed. For borrowers under $150K, the names of the businesses or recipients will now be listed.
If your business received a PPP loan, we recommend being prepared to respond to media inquiries on stories pertaining to your PPP loan.
