On Friday, IGA CEO John Ross released a series of required minimum safety standards for all IGA stores to follow. These standards include:
- All staff educated on safety protocols and transmission prevention
- Increased cleaning in high-traffic areas
- Communicate safety standards to shoppers
- Learn proper protocol to implement if an associate falls ill
- Provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
