Sun Care Category High, Health & Beauty and Pet Care Rebound
In their weekly COVID-19 shopping insights, Nielsen reports that total store growth bounced back to double-digits last week, with a resurgence in cleaning and disinfectant demand as business owners open to the public and people start to socialize more. Sun Care showed the highest growth since COVID started. Health & Beauty and Pet Care rebounded after weeks of decline in Brick & Mortar.
The decline in trips slowed down both offline and online compared to last week, while basket values remained strong.
