A Tribute to Mary Nilsson of Geissler's Supermarkets
An independent grocery store run by the fourth generation is a rare thing in today's day and age, needing a strong leader to inspire children and grandchildren to continue the family and brand's legacy. Mary Geissler Nilsson was that leader for the greater Nilsson family, who now runs Geissler's Supermarkets nearly 100 years after her father founded the company. Current President Bob Rybick shares more of his grandmother Mary's story, who passed away on January 16.
