Year-end Training Maintenance Checklist

As we close out the year, the IGA Retail Learning Institute recommends retail teams complete the following tasks to prepare for 2026. Taking time now to review your training activity, refresh assignments, and clean up user data will ensure your learning program starts the new year organized, compliant, and aligned with your store’s goals.

  • Run a 2025 Historical Report
    Review all enrollments, completions, training time, users, and courses from the past year. 

  • Update Learning Plans
    Check the list of new, updated, and retired courses and make necessary updates. 

  • Inactivate Terminated User Accounts/ArchiveEnrollments
    Export a user report and deactivate accounts for terminated employees to help keep the system efficient and cost effective. Archiving your yearly enrollments in the training platform keeps your learning records organized and updated, ensures your dashboard stays clean, and makes room for new annual training assignments.
